Chris started his musical career playing original material in a metal band called Viscera with his brother Ralph Buzea. Simultaneously, he attended music college and gained experience with other styles such as jazz, latin, classical, and film scoring.
Growing up in the early 2000’s, Chris identified with many of the new-school metal bands, but always had an interest in discovering the old-school, timeless sounds. Influenced by artists such as Randy Rhoads (Ozzy Osbourne), Paul Gilbert (Racer X), Alex Skolnick (Testament), and Chuck Schuldiner (Death), Chris enjoys good music regardless of genre and maintains an open mind to all musical styles.
His past experience includes multiple regional and international tours with Viscera, professional Metallica tribute Cliff ‘Em All, the emerging Yellowcake, as well as regular performances with Latin/Urban artist Aponte, studio sessions for indie audiophiles Sneaky Little Devil, and guest appearances playing a variety of instruments with the Game Music Ensemble at UCLA.
