Phase 3 of Our Dying World’s musical evolution has begun with the release of The Egregious Sins of Humanity, now available on all streaming platforms. Released in both Full and Orchestral only versions, ESOH takes another giant leap forward with their movement to a more complex, “Filmscore-like” sound with this single, and look for more exciting tracks coming soon!

Ray Has Left the Building…
It’s with heavy heart that we say goodbye to our friend and bother in arms, Ray “Giant Shark” Sanchez. Ray set the bar high during his time with Our Dying World, and we will definitely miss him, and wish him all the best as he embarks on the next chapter of his life and musical career.

ODW Headlines the Whiskey
Mark your calendars, ODW headlines the world famous Whiskey a Go-Go on February 19th! With an awesome lineup including AlphaAmega and more, we’ll be blowing the roof off this place, as we debut our new single.
SF Shows
ODW is looking forward to doing a bit of traveling this year, with a few shows up north. We’re headed to the SF / Sacramento areas to support Graveshadow on their mini tour. Oct 14th we’ll be at Cafe Colonial and Oct 15th at The Hotel Utah Saloon. Get ready to rage SF, we’re coming!
HOBD Release
It’s only been a few days since the release of Hymns of Blinding Darkness, and already we have garnered some positive reviews from various metal websites which you view from our press / reviews section..
In addition, we have our first album reaction, from The Sonic Symphonic podcast, which you can check out here. Thanks SSP, you guys rock.
WOA Results
Well the wait is finally over, and the results are in. In the history of the Wacken battles, according to the esteemed panel of judges, this was the closet battle in terms of score in the history of the contest.
Unfortunately, we won’t get to represent the USA at the Wacken finals, as we were edged out by two points. However ODW had an amazing time performing at the battles, and it was an honor to compete against some very excellent competition and we can’t thank our supporters enough, for showing up in droves and supporting us through this experience.
Onward and upward, exciting announcements happening soon, so stay tuned!
Wacken Nationals
ODW is pleased to announce that we have swept both of the first two rounds of the Battle for Wacken contest here in Los Angeles and are set to represent California at the Nationals, May 7th at the Viper Room. We really would appreciate your support at this show, as the winner of the nationals will complete at the world finals at Wacken!
Austin Joins ODW
ODW would like to welcome our newest member, Austin Mitrofanis to the fold. ODW is excited to have Austin with us, as our twin guitar attack is now complete.
Austin made his debut appearance at our Viper Room show for the Battle for Wacken contest (round 1) in which we were victorious and have moved on to the semi finals!

Uli has left the building…
ODW is sad to announce the departure of Ulises Hernandez, but we wish him well in all of future musical endeavors.
Which brings us to ODW’s new configuration, with Tom Tierney back behind the kit. Currently ODW is running as a 5 piece, and is sounding stronger than ever.

ODW Welcomes Graham Southern
ODW is super excited to announce the addition of Graham Southern on keys to the lineup. Graham’s keyboard wizardy will take ODW to new heights on the upcoming album.
